When looking for a new website it's essential your able to work with the that company and understand that company can provide the quality build needed to help your business grow online.
Sometimes when speaking to web design companies you find it difficult to truely understand what your getting for your money. I was speaking to a company that bought a website 3 years ago and now wants a new website building but he didn't want to use the same web design company, at this point i asked what he wants from the website regarding look and feel, design, colours etc. The guy who i this case I'll call Bob didn't know what to do next because this other web design company said that he didn't own the website and they did and if he wants to buy it he can for £2000. Bob at this point was shocked to say the least as he thought when he paid £2500 for the original build the website was his but this isn't the case.
In the end Bob paid some money to the company, not the amount they asked for and then had the website re-designed slightly with some modifications made to help the website on Google, so search engine optimisation was complete and the website is now successful.
